Description
OVERVIEW Provides individual and small group instruction to age and income-eligible participants who need home internet service, internet-capable devices, and coaching in workplace readiness and introductory digital skills to become effective technology users.   RESPONSIBILITIES * Assess each client’s access to technology, current digital skill level, internet connectivity needs, and internet use priorities to assist each client with developing a plan to achieve individual goals. * Track each client’s progress and requests for assistance by keeping accurate and timely records, and report outcomes as required. * Coach clients, as necessary, to use their new technology to attain certifications for workplace readiness. This may include both in person, phone, and online interactions, as well as referral to sources of additional digital literacy skill training. * Collaborate with Digital Navigation Team to ensure that goals are met, special projects are completed, and administrative duties are completed. * Scheduling Learners for courses and group programs, such as webinars and graduation. * Provide virtual group and individual lessons and proctor assessments. * Performs other duties as assigned.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES    * Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and multi-tasking to ensure high quality products and customer service delivery. * Attention to detail and excellent observation skills. * Honest and able to perform the assignment with the highest level of integrity. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences in a variety of ways. * Computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Zoom.   * Able to achieve 100% attainment in all curriculums delivered as part of the Digital Certification Program (DCP). QUALIFICATIONS * Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in library science, education &/or training, social work or communication.  * Five to seven years of prior training and coaching experience. * Aging and/or workforce knowledge a plus.   POSITION LOGISTICS * 100% remote * Candidates must be flexible and able to respond to changing priorities. * Travel up to 10%.          
Responsibilities
