Description

WHY WE NEED YOU

Our small digital team is juggling legacy sites, new web builds, ads, SEO, analytics and a variety of admin work. We work with a variety of small clients, as well as a number of internal website projects and are looking for a keen, tech-savvy organiser who can own the day-to-day noise allowing for the manager to step out of some of these tasks.
You’ll work closely with the manager & our developer, along with other team members both locally and overseas to learn and assist with day to day tasks.

Responsibilities
  • ClickUp / project tool & process hygiene - Daily ticket triage, weekly clean-ups, status/tag fixes, build & refine SOPs
  • Project & brief prep - Turn loose ideas into structured website/ads briefs, draft site maps & timelines, gather assets for designers/devs.
  • Web housekeeping - Assist with plugin/theme updates on classic WP sites, troubleshoot minor issues, raise clear tasks when deeper dev work is needed.
  • Basic dev tasks - Assist our developer with incoming client website issues, help prep or scaffold up new WordPress web projects (we use custom coded themes for internal brands), refining Cursor AI project rules.
  • Analytics & tagging - Set up and QA GA4 / GTM events and basic funnels - You’ll also work with the manager and our social / ads person.
  • Design sanity checks - Design briefs providing context to our designer for projects, review Figma files, flag issues, compile feedback.
  • Admin & ops support - Register/renew domains, organise shared drives, chase team check-ins, keep shared docs & knowledgebases current + organised.

Must-haves

  • Solid HTML/CSS and willingness to tweak simple PHP
  • Comfortable learning Git basics (pull, branch, push)
  • Loves neat boards, clear naming and well-documented steps
  • Able to self-learn (Google search / asks ChatGPT first, then brings smart questions) - Embracing the changes with AI and keen to utilise AI where possible
  • SEO / Ads understanding
  • Basic developer experience (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress)
  • Availability to work in our Auckland office

Nice-to-haves

  • GA4 or GTM experience
  • Supabase/SQL curiosity
  • Eye for design
  • SEO / Ads experience
  • Dev experience
