Digital Optimisation Consultant
18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Edinburgh, Witham, Peterborough (We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time)
Salary: A competitive salary from £39,120 - £48,900 depending on the experience you can bring

The Digital Operations team is responsible for the management and optimisation of Marketing Technology (MarTech) across the Marketing department along with the management of our public digital estates. Specifically, this includes ownership of our public websites, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, website analytics, personalisation, targeting and digital project support.
You will support the Digital Optimisation Manager in delivering the strategy for connecting and optimising digital journeys and customer engagement across our various digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Data team, Channel Communications, Content and Brand to create and deliver automated multi-channel BAU and campaign email communications optimised for both the business and customer.
• Analyse website traffic and user behaviour using Adobe Analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing content.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
• Provide actionable insights to improve the quality, placement, and targeting of website content
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to refine strategies based on analytics insights.
• Create and maintain dashboards to track website performance metrics and provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
• Generate regular reports summarising findings, insights, and recommendations for optimisation.
• Present analyses to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and compelling manner.
• Partner with marketing, design, and product teams to align analytics insights with broader business objectives.
• Provide input into A/B testing and personalisation strategies to enhance user experiences and content effectiveness.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Strong proficiency in marketing technology platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in advanced audience segmentation and performance reporting.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Adobe Target or similar), including a solid understanding of testing methodologies, and a passion about the test and learn approach
• Previous experience in email marketing automation; knowledge of SQL or AMPscript is advantageous.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present to and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Be data driven – utilising performance data to form experimentation briefs and make recommendations with an eagerness to learn and develop through action and analysis
• Be able to demonstrate use of AI through personal efficiency tools, data analysis or predictive analytics.
