Role Overview PIC North America, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Phenotyping Sr. Manager that will be responsible for deploying, implementing, and supporting PIC’s high-throughput digital phenotyping platforms. This person will ultimately be responsible for leading efforts that transform the way phenotypic data is collected and utilized within the genetic improvement program. The successful candidate has the ability to work in a culturally diverse, fast-paced environment and can work collaboratively across functional teams. The candidate is a strong communicator and possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to efficiently collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. This role is based remotely within the United States with expectation of travel estimated at 20% The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $118,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. You Will Support the development and implementation of novel digital phenotyping platforms using technical expertise. Support research to optimize and scale implementation of digital technologies Implement efficient methods for data flow from farm to computing resources, including on-premises (edge computing) and/or cloud computing Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts in genetics, animal science, supply chain, to execute and integrate new phenotyping systems Communicate results and provide technical input to management and stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making Stay current in evolving landscape of artificial intelligence and its application to precision livestock farming and digital phenotyping Requirements University degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Agriculture/Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field A minimum of 5 years of experience in statistics, signal processing, time series data, and machine learning A minimum of 5 years of experience with MS Office suite as well as other relevant software platforms, including Python, scripting, and SQL databases Business Overview Genus is an agricultural biotechnology pioneer.
