Digital PR Producer Marketing | Owned & Earned Media Here at Torrens Global Education, we do things a little differently. Our teams are dynamic, data-driven and deeply collaborative, working together to build strong, trusted brands across education. We are seeking a Digital PR Producer to join our Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager (Owned & Earned Media). This role plays a critical part in executing our off-page SEO and Digital PR strategy across all Global Torrens Education-owned and earned web properties. This is a hands-on role combining digital PR, SEO, content marketing and online reputation management, with a strong focus on authority building, backlink acquisition, brand visibility and emerging AI-driven search (GEO / GenAI) optimisation. This is a full time, permanent role, for a successful candidate based on Surry Hills, Sydney. This role allows hybrid working opportunities, with 3 days working from home. Salary for this role will be between 85K and 90K based upon experience, job description requirements and cultural alignment to the organisation. About the role As the Digital PR Producer, you will deliver high-impact digital PR campaigns that improve organic visibility, increase authoritative backlinks, and strengthen brand presence across search, social and third-party platforms. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Communications, Research, Partnerships and Academic teams, acting as the subject-matter expert for off-page SEO, digital outreach and earned media performance. What you’ll own & deliver: We have 4 pillars of success for this role. They are: 1. Strategy & Execution Turn data and insight into off-page SEO and Digital PR campaigns that drive measurable growth. Collaborate with researchers and academics to identify and shape stories that drive Digital PR ideas earning coverage, authority, and high-value backlinks. Strengthen brand visibility and referral traffic across owned, earned and third-party platforms. Influence GenAI and GEO outcomes by building consistent, authoritative earned content. 2. Owned Media & Reputation Own and optimise Google My Business listings to maximise local visibility and trust. Lead online reviews strategy — driving volume, improving sentiment, owning timely responses to customer reviews, and protecting brand reputation. Monitor and interpret online reputation signals across reviews, forums and education platforms. Optimise YouTube channels using SEO-led strategies to increase discovery and performance. 3. Earned Media & Authority Building Identify brand mentions and convert them into high-quality backlink opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, publishers, bloggers and influencers. Deliver editorial placements and linkable content that lift Domain and Page Authority. Identify and participate in relevant industry conversations across forums and online communities. Ensure earned media strengthens AI-driven discovery and search authority. 4. Innovation & Growth Develop innovative Digital PR partnerships with high-authority digital publications. Stay ahead of trends in SEO, Digital PR, AI search and content discovery. Test new content formats and outreach approaches to keep brands competitive. Continuously evolve best practice to drive sustainable growth and impact. Who we’re looking for: Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2+ years’ experience in SEO, Digital PR, digital marketing, journalism, media our editorial experience. Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and Local SEO (Google My Business). Experience with SEO platforms such as BrightEdge, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic or similar. Familiarity with social listening tools. Experience analysing performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Skills & Capability Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret insights and translate them into action. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills. Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and upskill in a fast-moving digital landscape. Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and agency partners. Working environment This role may require work outside standard business hours at peak times. Occasional travel may be required. Who are we?
