Description

We are actively recruiting for the position of HP 7900 Indigo Digital Press Operator for our plant in Brooklyn, OG 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm Duties & Responsibilities * Follow machine set-up and shut down procedures properly. * Start machinery and make adjustments when necessary to improve performance. * Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions. * Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance as needed. * Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor. * Make real-time machine adjustments based on the job being processed. * Maintain par inventory levels inks, paper stock, and other consumables. * Communicate with imposition to resolve file issues, rip errors and etc. * Comply with all safety and health regulations. * Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. * Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and free of any safety hazards. * Place finished jobs in correct staging areas. * Update job status as it goes thru the processes until finished. * Perform other duties as assigned, maintenance, ink rebuilds, PIP foil changes, blanket changes etc. Qualifications * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. * Works well in a team environment. * Self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Commitment to excellence and high-quality standards. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. * Must be computer savvy (knowledge of file transfers, looks up items, and familiarity with with Adobe Acrobat) and have a willingness to learn in-house programs and systems. * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. * Acute attention to detail.
