Description JOB SUMMARY This position operates and completes print jobs on both our Xeikon & Vutek Presses. This position is scheduled for our 2nd shift, which operates on a 4-day week schedule, with 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM. PRIMARY DUTIES Complete print jobs independently Maintain appropriate set-up to start-up time ratio Assist in the manufacture of a quality product, which meets and or exceeds customer expectations and consistently meet product specifications Ability to match color and maintain color consistency Learn/retain and follow all QA/QC procedures Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment correctly and on schedule Work consistently and efficiently with minimum disruptions Follow through on responsibilities, assignments, and instructions Assist with make-ready and the start-up of running jobs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures Knowledge of Adobe Software (Photoshop and InDesign) File Pre-Press Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays Other duties as assigned by management Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma, GED Prefer at least one to two years related experience and/or training in digital printing industry Knowledge of Adobe Suite of programs Familiarity with Mac OSX PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, etc. Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs. Must pass a physical demands test MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS Pass the Munsell Hue Test administered to potential color mixing candidates Pass a mechanical aptitude test WORKING CONDITIONS This position will work out of our Loucks manufacturing plant. May require overtime or work on another shift as needed EQUIPMENT OPERATED Xeikon & Vutek Presses

Responsibilities

The Digital Press Operator operates and completes print jobs on Xeikon and Vutek presses while maintaining quality and efficiency. They are responsible for following QA/QC procedures and conducting preventative maintenance on equipment.
