Due to our forever expanding department and new machinery,
We are recruiting for a experienced Digital Print Operative to join our busy and expanding team at “The Print Works”
“The Print Works” is a division of LSi Limited one of the UK’s most prominent Promotional Merchandise suppliers.
“The Print Works” specialises in digital print, laser engraving, embroidery and providing finishing services to the parent company, as well as breaking into new retail markets through its online personalisation websites.
We are looking for a candidate who will want to get to grips with our all singing all dancing Kongsberg x24 help out with our Mimaki digital printers and also our embroidery machines .
Must have PC knowledge / UV background as a minimum. Drivers license preferable if not live local.
They must also be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst still maintaining the highest standards of print quality.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:-

• CNC Machines background is a advantage but training will be given.
• Mimaki / Rasterlink an advantage but training will be given.
• Running of our state of the art laser machines.
• Running of our 360 degree bottle machines
• Running of Embroidery machines advantageous.
• Daily scheduling of jobs and responsibility of keeping machines in a good working order.
• Running of our DTF and Sublimation machines as and when required
• Printing / Engraving of retail orders on a daily basis via our OMS system (full training will be given)
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Helping the print department where needed
• Managing stock.
• Research and development of new methods of production

The successful candidate must be/have:-

• Hard Working,
• PC literate, Basic Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe illustrator (advantageous but not essential)
• UV print knowledge / Background. Rasterlink etc.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Honest
• An eye for detail and quality control VITAL.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Able to work on there own
• Ability to work night shift if needed only in peak season (17:00 - 12:00). So for this must have own transport and not rely on public transport.

As a small company, the position demands a great deal of flexibility where you may be asked to help out in other areas of the business as and when required. This is a new role and gives opportunity to grow with the new business.
Salary dependent upon experience.
Overtime (when required), 28 Days Holiday including Statutory.
Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Please note, this is not a trainee role (advertised separately) but training can be given on rips, embroidery machines etc that candidate / s are not used to.
