Our company is currently looking for a Digital Print Operator for 3rd shift (10pm to 6am) responsible for the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of digital print equipment, specifically the HP Page Wide Digital Web Press (HP A2200). This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and has previous experience in a digital or offset printing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain HP digital press equipment. Monitor print jobs for quality, accuracy, and consistency. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs independently. Train and mentor new press operators. Ensure timely and accurate completion of production tasks. Collaborate with production and prepress teams to ensure file integrity and print readiness. Maintain a clean and organized press area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards. Requirements Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience operating digital web presses (e.g., IBM, Kodak, Xerox iGen, Océ). Experience with roll-to-roll digital presses required. Solid understanding of the file-to-print process and strong computer skills. Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities. Experience with color printing, including 4-color process. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (both oral & written is desired) Experience with HP A2200 is strongly preferred. Prior experience in an offset or web press environment is a plus. Technically and mechanically savvy. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Takes pride in their work and strives for excellence. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing and printing environment. Exposure to dust, ink, solvents, vapors, moving parts, and moderate noise. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
