SHIFT PATTERN: 2 DAYS ON, 2 DAYS OFF 6:00AM – 8:00PM

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Digital Print Operative to join a fast-paced Print & Finishing department within a leading visual communications business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in print production who takes pride in delivering quality work and wants to be part of a collaborative and agile team.

DIGITAL PRINT OPERATIVE REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Strong knowledge of print production practices
· Experience with digital print machinery (e.g., HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek) is an advantage
· Understanding of Windows operating systems
· Practical experience in a print environment
· High attention to detail
· Dependable, honest, and conscientious
· Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment

· Process incoming work from the repro/print department
· Ensure correct sizing and apply the appropriate correction curves
· Quality check all jobs according to job specifications
· Maintain workflow and adhere to the production schedule
· Report major issues to the supervisor or manager
· Resolve minor issues independently to maintain job flow
· Maintain machinery in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
· Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe
· Select the correct media profile and rip the job for print (training provided if required)
