SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Significant experience in specialist consulting in a Cloud Software Vendor/Enterprise Organization, specifically in CRM SaaS applications.
  • Experience working with and managing third-party delivery engagements – e.g., Managed service for support and delivery of MS Power Platform solutions.
  • Demonstrated technical capability and knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 with a strong understanding of the latest features and advancements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the automation landscape to provide advice on appropriate automation opportunities and platforms.
  • Strong business acumen to understand business objectives, challenges, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and strong workshop facilitation skills.
  • Proven experience leading solution definition for enterprise customers, including detailed project planning and effort estimation activities.
  • Proven ability to successfully develop and lead the implementation of robust digital strategies to deliver business outcomes and experience with driving technology change.
  • Versatile, results-oriented, with a continuous improvement focus and the ability to influence outcomes with both senior leaders and other stakeholders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the COE, including delivery and governance frameworks, to provide a platform for secure development across a distributed automation delivery structure at UNSW.
  • Create COE frameworks that include policies and procedures for assessing automation opportunities, providing direction on citizen development vs. professional development scenarios, delivering secure environment and administration capabilities, and knowledge sharing, including standards, templates, etc.
  • Develop and enforce guardrails that are appropriately scaled to the complexity and risk of the automation projects.
  • Implement a change approval board process that allows minor, non-code, or cosmetic changes to bypass extensive UAT, sign-off, and the weekly CAB process.
  • Host regular knowledge sharing sessions through the IT COE to demonstrate and showcase low[1]code solutions implemented in other areas of the university.
  • Establish an internal capability within IT for Power Automate and UI Path skills that can service the entire university.
  • Publish a catalogue of available solutions (e.g., chatbot capability) so that different areas can reuse and adapt these solutions for their specific use cases, avoiding duplication of work and enhancing efficiency.
  • Establish a centralized service/point of contact for all IT Department and vendor engagements and liaise across IT Units (e.g., Cloud, Infrastructure, Networks, Cybersecurity) to obtain answers and advise on solutions.
  • Provide expert, specialist advice to support organizational needs, including resolving conflicting demands, designs, and initiatives that continue to mature this capability.
