DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to drive delivery of our Superannuation offering on Betashares Direct, a new investing platform designed to help Australians build wealth.
Betashares Direct was launched in November 2023 and is continuing to grow as we expand our product offering and strive to provide a market-leading experience with innovative solutions for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to build, develop and grow a product within the Direct ecosystem from the ground up to launch our Superannuation offering on Direct. In September 2024 Betashares acquired Bendigo Superannuation which will form part of the Betashares Direct ecosystem in the future.
You will be responsible for prioritising features focusing on our Super product, owning the backlog and guiding the development team through delivery, as well as work closely with business stakeholders including customer experience, growth and product.
This role will work closely with a dedicated squad comprising web and mobile developers, and designer.
This role requires a hungry and ambitious individual who is a team player and passionate about building their career. A genuine interest in finance and investing is a huge plus.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a product role within financial services or a direct to consumer fintech, experience with digital super platforms an advantage
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of new products end-to-end (from design, to build and market launch)
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passionate customer experience advocate
  • SCRUM, PSPO or CSPO certification an advantage

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of new features to support the integration of Super onto the Betashares Direct platform
  • Be a key point of contact for our engineering and design leads, working closely with the Super team to define requirements and maintain the backlog
  • Support the overall delivery of the Super product roadmap on Direct.
  • Communicate risks to delivery and ability to offer solutions to overcome these
  • Breakdown features into actionable user stories and requirements
  • Champion agile delivery and run Scrum ceremonies for squad teams
  • Partner with the Product Growth team to measure the performance of product releases and optimise for conversions
  • Drive the testing process before product releases and facilitate gathering customer feedback
  • Advocate for great customer experience and work closely with our design and customer insights teams
