Job Description: Digital Product Manager
Department: Marketing – Digital
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Head Office, Bidford-on-Avon (Office-based)
Salary Band: £37,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
Role Purpose
The Digital Product Manager assumes responsibility for the management and continuous enhancement of all digital products, services, and eCommerce platforms within Viezu Technologies Ltd, Paramount Performance, and associated brands.
This role is primarily delivery-focused and highly pragmatic, serving as a bridge between marketing, data, inventory, and development. The incumbent will oversee product visibility, taxonomy, pricing, shipping, and tax rules across all online shops; ensure integration and data accuracy across the business’s CRM, accounts, and inventory systems; and serve as the primary contact for developers and third-party platforms.
The Digital Product Manager is pivotal to the company’s digital programmes and will eventually assume a wider leadership responsibilities as the team expands.
Key Responsibilities

Product Data Management

  • Maintain product and service listings across all WooCommerce, WordPress, and content-managed platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy in product titles, descriptions, images, specifications, tax classes, shipping rules, and pricing.
  • Regularly review product hierarchies, tags, and categories for SEO and customer usability.
  • Conduct product audits across internal systems and websites to ensure consistency and reliability.

Vendor Feed Integration

  • Liaise with suppliers to receive and process flat file uploads (CSV/XLSX) of product updates.
  • Import and validate price changes, image updates, technical specifications, and product lifecycle status (new/discontinued).
  • Ensure all data updates are reflected across CRM, accounting, and eCommerce platforms without duplication or conflict.

Website & Developer Collaboration

  • Act as the day-to-day technical liaison with external developers for fixes, enhancements, and support.
  • Manage the development request backlog, QA testing, and staging-to-live processes.
  • Support vertical marketing leads by enabling landing pages, redirects, campaign tagging, and plugin/tool integrations.
  • Ensure site publishing protocols are followed and changes tracked accurately.

Digital Operations

  • Configure products to support promotions, bundles, coupon rules, pre-orders, and backorders.
  • Maintain pricing logic, taxation rules, and shipping configurations in accounts and eCommerce systems.
  • Oversee multicurrency and localisation setup for international trading.
  • Drive improvements in product visibility, filtering, and sortability across all storefronts.

Commercial & Performance Reporting

  • Generate monthly performance insights at product and category level (conversion rates, cart adds, bounce rates, etc.).
  • Deliver ROI, CPA, and ROAS reporting across digital marketing expenditure.
  • Share proactive insights with retail, trade, and training verticals to support commercial decisions.
  • Support integration of marketing workflows and automations in CRM and related systems.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 100% consistency of product data across accounts, inventory, and all website platforms.
  • All vendor file imports processed within three working days of receipt.
  • Weekly publishing of product updates and price changes.
  • Zero critical errors in pricing, shipping, or tax setup at quarterly audits.
  • ≥95% product availability visibility across core platforms.
  • Delivery of monthly reporting pack to the Senior Management Team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Three or more proactive digital insights or corrective actions shared with vertical teams each month.

Person Specification
Degree or equivalent experience in eCommerce or digital
Qualification in data science, digital commerce or web dev
Experience : 3–5 years managing product data and digital catalogues
Experience in automotive aftermarket or parts-based retail
Platform Knowledge: WooCommerce, WordPress, Excel/CSV manipulation
Familiarity with CRM and inventory/accounting integration platforms
Technical Skills : Flat file import/export, basic HTML/CSS, product taxonomy
Ability to write developer briefs and test staging environments
Analytical Thinking:
Comfortable using data to inform decisions and strategy
Proficiency with Google Analytics, GA4, or Hotjar
Systems Experience :
Experience using developer support systems, CMS platforms
Experience managing plugins, Stripe, API or tool integrations
Organisation & Detail :
Highly accurate, methodical and process-oriented
Experience coordinating external teams or vendors
Leadership Potential :
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and support team growth
Interest and capability to develop into a future people manager
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
