Job Description The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK! It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it’s a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly. We’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract and looking for a Digital Project Manager to work under the Business Planning and Performance department in the Digital and Information Team for the M25 DBFO – supporting the delivery of a complex portfolio of digital changes. Management of 2-3 key digital projects in the portfolio. Deliver each project in line with a structured methodology for technology projects on the M25, reporting progress, developing and managing a plan and delivering key project items. Ensure that the projects progress to plan and any concerns are escalated as required Responsibilities Delivery of digital / technology projects in the digital transformation portfolio Adherence to the technology project delivery methodology, including development of key project artefacts Management of all commercial processes in conjunction with the CPS commercial team Regular updates on progress made and status reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and the Digital and Data Delivery Lead Capture, measurement and tracking of key project benefits in conjunction with the Finance team Reporting at key governance forums on progress made, such as the CPS Change Board Management of project finances and engagement with the Finance team Identification, reporting and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies Qualifications Essential – Successfully managing multiple projects Essential – Identifying and capturing project benefits Essential – Status reporting on project delivery Essential – Engaging project level stakeholders Essential – Working to project lifecycle and developing key documentation Essential – Project shaping and business case development Desirable – Understanding of digital technology and its application Desirable – Interdependency identification and tracking Additional Information Equality, Diversity & Inclusion We are an Equal Opportunities employer and we strive to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we represent.
