Job Description As a Digital Rights Management (DRM) Engineer (m/f/diverse) you will be managing, maintaining the Microsoft Based DRM service in Continental, with the aim to ensure that the protection mechanism which secures the distribution and consumption of the digital media in the O365 environment is operated at required standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DRM technologies, external providers management, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Information Protection mechanisms. Key Responsibilities Implementation and management of M365 E5 Information Protection and Governance, including administration and management of the Central Key Management solution (Azure Key Vault Managed HSM) Develop and lead implementations of Microsoft Purview Information Protection designs and architecture concepts Troubleshoot and resolve DRM-related issues in close cooperation with the specialists, external partners, and vendors that support the DRM services. Ensure data lifecycle management and archiving, monitoring, and analysis of encryption protocols and events Manage and maintain the defined Sensitivity Label and Sensitive Information Types (SIT) Troubleshoot and resolve DRM-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption in the service Implement improvements and changes of the MS DRM solution to protect digital content across various platforms and devices. Develop and maintain documentation for DRM configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and content protection standards. DRM Service ownership/co-ownership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced experience in Digital Rights Management, content protection, or related roles Strong understanding of Microsoft Purview Information Protection technology, including encryption, licensing, and key management. Strong knowledge with DRM standards, protection mechanisms and encryption algorithms Knowledge in managing and administration of Azure Key Vault Managed HSM Knowledge in scripting with PowerShell, Phyton Project management and communication skills Relevant certifications in DRM or content protection are a plus.
