Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Digital Risk and Compliance Lead to join our Digital and Technology team. This role is key in ensuring that Digital & Technology risks and compliance obligations are proactively identified, centrally managed, and that appropriate controls are in place. This includes driving continuous improvement in risk management processes and tools and providing coaching and support across Digital & Technology to embed a culture of risk-based decision making.
With a Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role a permanent position and is based in Southbank, Victoria and is part of the Strategy and Partner Management team.

THIS ROLE WILL DELIVER REAL OUTCOMES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Partner with Digital & Technology teams, Lines of Business and stakeholders to proactively identify, assess, and manage digital risks, controls, and solutions.
  • Manage the Digital & Technology risk registers, working with key stakeholders to assess and address risks, and provide insightful solutions to improve the risk and control environment.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of a Digital & Technology Risk Management Plan, and work on improving risk management processes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of AusNet’s Digital & Technology compliance requirements, including regulations, Cyber Security, third-party contracts, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance obligations are documented, tracked, and managed by the relevant stakeholders through AusNet’s registers and plans
  • Provide governance for Digital & Technology leadership across risk and compliance activities, drive continuous improvement in processes and tools, and provide coaching across Digital & Technology to embed a culture of risk-based decision making
