JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME PERMANENT

Monday to Friday working 8am - 4.30pm.
8 paid working hours per day with 30 mins per day unpaid break.
Total hours of paid work per week is 40.
£12.60hr / £505 per week
20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
Paid fortnightly by BACS working first week in hand.

Reporting to our senior buyer, this role is a great opportunity which is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in digital sales and marketing, allowing you to both develop your skills and grow within the company, whilst gaining hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the foodservice wholesale industry.
As a sales & marketing assistant, you will play a major role in developing, designing and executing effective digital promotional strategies that drive sales and enhance our brand visibility. You will collaborate closely with the sales and procurement teams and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and strategic thinking while contributing to the company’s overall success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digital Promotional Strategies:

Working with our sales & procurement department, you will be responsible for the design and creation of the digital content of the company’s promotional strategies from concept to completion. By the way of B2B & B2C, your keen eye for detail will ensure that our promotion strategy reaches the right customers at the right time.

  • Monitor and Analyse Promotional Activity Success:

Tracking and reporting on the success of the promotional strategy will be essential in measuring its impact. Working closely with our sales team as well as talking to our customers directly, your ability to analyse data and draw actionable insights from this data will help us refine our future strategies to achieve greater results.

  • Conduct Comprehensive Market Research:

Conduct market research and support sales activities to identify potential new customers, new product opportunities within existing customer base and customer trends, by working closely with our sales team as well as your own independent research.

  • Company Brochures, & Sales Systems Management.

Manage and update company brochure both hard copy and online as well as other various sales tools used by the company

  • Website & Social Media Management:

Manage, create and update our newsletter, website and social media content.

  • Product Library Management:

Manage and keep updated our product image library.

EXPERIENCE & ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in marketing, sales, or promotions.
  • Previous experience of creating/editing digital content using packages such as InDesign, Photoshop etc.
  • Previous experience with email marketing platforms (we use mailchimp)
  • Previous experience with website content management systems (we use WordPress)
  • Knowledge of how to use all major social media channels.
  • The ability to create and curate content libraries.
