Job Title: Digital Services Architect- IT Commercial & Digital Location: Krakow Job Description The Digital Services Architect is a technical leadership role within the IT Commercial & Digital organization, responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the platforms and infrastructure that power Galderma’s global websites and mobile applications. This role supports business units across Healthcare, Aesthetics, and Consumer segments, ensuring digital services are secure, compliant, scalable, and high-performing. Reporting to the Digital Services Service Owner, the Architect will manage hosting environments, web security, DNS configurations, domain lifecycle, and integration with MarTech systems. The role ensures the reliability and technical governance of all digital channels, working closely with internal IT teams, Compliance, Legal, and external vendors to deliver robust digital experiences in regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Design and evolve technical architecture for web and mobile platforms supporting B2C and B2B use cases. Collaborate with the Service Owner to align technical roadmaps with business goals, scalability, and performance requirements. Identify and evaluate new platforms, and technologies to enhance the digital ecosystem. Administer and continuously improve hosting environments (e.g. Pantheon.io, Platform.sh), ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Serve as technical escalation point for issues related to web hosting, platform access, backups, and environment configuration. Oversee provisioning and lifecycle of hosting instances, global and local Configure and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), including Imperva Cloud WAF, to protect digital assets from external threats. Ensure compliance with security standards, privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA), and industry guidelines (e.g. EAA, GxP). Implement and maintain cookie consent solutions, domain protection tools (e.g. ComLaudeWatch), and access control policies. Manage the full lifecycle of domains, from registration and configuration to monitoring and renewal. Administer DNS configurations using ComLaude and Imperva, ensuring service continuity and resilience. Support trademark protection and rogue domain detection processes in collaboration with Legal and IT Security. Maintain and regularly update the Digital Asset Inventory (DAI) of all web and mobile assets, social channels, and redirects. Ensure accurate metadata, ownership, and compliance records across platforms. Support lifecycle planning and governance of digital assets. Own the technical administration of tools such as CMS, DNS portals, WAF dashboards, and support portals (e.g. Magento, ComLaude, Imperva). Coordinate updates, patches, and integrations across platforms. Serve as the technical SME for vendor and agency onboarding, platform access, and incident resolution. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architecture diagrams, platform documentation, and knowledge base content. Define publishing workflows, access governance, and localization frameworks in coordination with stakeholders. Contribute to the development of digital standards and best practices across the enterprise. Key Technologies & Tools Hosting Platforms: Pantheon.io, Platform.sh, WP Engine Security & DNS: Imperva WAF, ComLaude DNS, Cloudflare CMS: WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Shopify, Contentful, Strapi Inventory & Governance: SharePoint DAI, Cookie Consent tools (e.g. OneTrust) Infrastructure: NGINX, cPanel, Google Cloud Console Collaboration & Support: Imperva Support Portal, Magento Admin, Jira, Confluence Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of experience in web operations, hosting administration, or digital platform architecture. Strong technical expertise in CMS, web hosting infrastructure, and internet security practices. Solid understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA), accessibility standards (EAA), and pharma/healthcare digital compliance. Experience managing domain/DNS, digital assets, and platform-level documentation at scale. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international organization. Strategic mindset with a focus on value delivery and continuous improvement.
