OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated DSP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital signal processing, electrical engineering, and system design. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that require innovative solutions and a deep understanding of various engineering principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and optimize DSP algorithms and systems.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in FPGA design and programming.
  • Strong understanding of signal processing techniques.
  • Experience with electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with CAD software including Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks for mechanical design integration.
  • Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist in interdisciplinary projects.
  • Soldering skills for prototype development and testing.
  • Ability to write scripts in Perl or other languages for automation tasks.
  • Experience with debugging tools and methodologies. Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital signal processing algorithms for various applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate DSP solutions with FPGA, SoC, and PCB designs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Simulink, and SystemVerilog for system design and simulation.
  • Perform debugging of firmware and software using Python, C++, and MATLAB.
  • Create schematics and documentation for electrical systems following NEC standards.
  • Engage in project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes including surface mount technology (SMT) in product development.
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to enhance system functionality.
  • Conduct vision inspection system evaluations to ensure quality control.
