REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 9+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 3+ years of solution or services sales experience in Microsoft Business applications.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 11+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 6+years of solution or services sales experience in Microsoft Business applications.
  • Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses – positive approach to problem solving, learning, and development.
  • Purposeful Planner & Executor – Delivers business impact with intentional planning, driving clarity to the team with consistent coaching rhythms, removing blockers and ensuring quarterly business budget goals are met.
  • Maintain excellence in pipeline management, forecasting and driving integrated territory and budget achievement planning.
  • Technical breadth: Enterprise customer level experience with cloud, hybrid infrastructures, productivity and security technologies, and industry standards recommended. Experience in competitive platforms and certifications preferred.
  • Proficient: Experience with complex sales training (e.g., Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden, etc.) and sales methodologies
  • Competes to win new market share.

Digital Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $150,900 - CAD $215,900 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Solution Area Sales Execution: Drive clarity on consumption and revenue targets, and lead innovation in sales approaches for your Solution Area. Consolidate performance data at the Operating Unit (OU) level. As the Regional Sales Lead, you own end-to-end sales results for your Solution Area in the region, holding teams accountable for meeting consumption and billed revenue goals.
  • Community Leadership & Coaching: Lead the regional Segment Solution Sales Manager (SSM) community. Coach first-line managers (M1s) on disciplined Microsoft Customer Engagement Framework (MCEM) stage progression, healthy pipeline coverage, and target attainment. Advise on growth bets, remove sales blockers, and accelerate top deals in partnership with specialists, thereby ensuring consistent execution across all areas.
  • Workload Engagement & Rhythm of Business: Lead the SME&C Corporate Segment Integrated Account Review (IAR) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) process for your Solution Area. Ensure operational rigor and timely insight delivery. Serve as the field’s voice to Worldwide (WW) Go-To-Market teams – gathering regional sales feedback via structured rhythms and listening channels and partnering with WW leads to adjust programs or offers as needed.
  • Partner Co-Sell Integration: Embed partners into account plans and sales motions. Collaborate closely with the Partner Sales (PSS) Lead to maximize co-sell opportunities, attaching partners to deals and leveraging programs (e.g. solution assessments, ECIF, offers) to scale reach. Provide field insights on competitive blockers and partner capacity back to WW partner teams.
  • Campaigns & GTM Alignment: Work with the regional Sales, Marketing & Operations (SE&O) GTM Lead to land campaigns and sales plays specific to your Solution Area. Input on sales performance to shape go-to-market plans and localize global strategies for optimal regional outcomes – effectively bridging WW strategy and local execution.
  • Regional Sales Community Management: Cultivate a sales community. Lead best-practice sharing and drive adoption of modern sales tools (e.g. Sales Accelerator, Copilot). Promote a culture of coaching, customer obsession, and compliant selling across the region.
