Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (RQS)

  • Experience in technology-related sales or solution sales within a reputable software company
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience engaging with mid-market or corporate customers, including managing multiple stakeholders and navigating moderately complex sales cycles
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with relevant experience in technology-related sales or account management
    OR

equivalent experience in technology-related sales or account management

  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud & AI infrastructure, data, and AI application platforms, and the ability to articulate technical solutions to both business and IT stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (PQS)

  • Experience selling business solutions to global customers with a focus on cloud-native technologies, AI, or data platform and analytics
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or a related field with demonstrated experience in technology-related sales or account management
    OR
    Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field with advanced experience in technology-related sales or account management
    OR

equivalent experience in technology-related sales or account management

  • Experience in solution or services sales

Responsibilities
  • You will lead Customer Engagements and act as the Cloud & AI sales lead, guiding customers through cloud transformation across infrastructure, data, and AI platforms as well as address business and technical needs with demos, whiteboarding, and solution storytelling.
  • You’ll ensure customers can fully harness the transformative potential of AI to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage forecast and pipeline from early-stage to close. Use tools like Industry Account Plans (IAP), Landing Experience Plans (LXP), and checklists to execute territory planning and strategies and drive revenue.
  • You will partner with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Cloud Solution Architects, and partners to co-sell, validate solutions, and ensure successful deployment through the Cloud & AI Marketplace.
  • You will engage decision-makers with clear business cases using Cloud & AI Pricing Calculator, ROI, and TCO tools. Scope proofs of concept and lead customers from commitment to consumption.
  • You will inspire and influence by bringing technical fluency and inclusive leadership to virtual teams. Solve challenges with proficiency in virtualization, cloud-native tech, data modernization and AI.
