ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who can confidently manage workload and prioritise tasks efficiently to develop new and exciting web experiences for our customers. You’ll be experienced in frontend development but comfortable working in backend codebases.
You’ll be expected to have solid web development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, and be comfortable working in a C#/.NET codebase, ideally with direct ecommerce experience. History with ecommerce and content platforms such as Sitecore is a bonus. Likewise, knowledge of NextJS/React, API’s, and integrations with third party systems is desirable, as it takes a lot of moving parts to deliver the kind of experiences our customers love.
Drawing on sound understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript development you will be joining our dynamic hybrid team of internal and external developers combined with our technical experts at YPO. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to innovate and enhance our website functionalities. You’ll also spend time troubleshooting, solving complex problems, and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical requirements. Most importantly, you’ll see the direct impact of your work in elevating our customers’ experience.
The role will have the opportunity to work with market leading technology such as Sitecore and be part of the team taking YPO into the future with our digital roadmap, which includes areas like headless architecture, composable solutions, and digital experience platforms. Work will go beyond that of a typical ecommerce website as we push the boundaries with projects like e-procurement capabilities, integrations with other exciting technologies, personalisation, and data driven A/B testing.
The role will be part of the Digital and Ecommerce team, reporting into the Digital Solutions Lead, where you will be joined by testing, support, and technical colleagues, along with our digital partner who works directly with the team.
