Description

We are seeking a Digital Strategist to join our performance marketing agency. As a Digital Strategist, you will lead in the planning & developing of marketing strategies for our clients across paid media channels. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge & experience in paid media channels like Google & Meta, with the ability to direct & support our paid media specialists if they have complex problems that need to be solved in the ad platform. You will be directly responsible for driving the performance in line with there goals and building quarterly roadmaps that detail out how we will achieve these results. An analytical mind will be highly sought after, as many of our clients need advanced data analysis to drive our campaigns’ success and ensure marketing leads are turning into revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their goals, target audience, and market landscape. Develop paid media channel strategies that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Digital Channel Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of SEM channels like Google Ads, including the intricacies of Performance Max marketing channels and how they play a role in the success of our strategy, including but not limited to search engine marketing (SEM), paid social media, display advertising, email marketing, and content marketing. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging platforms.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive quarterly roadmaps that tie into client goals. The plans will integrate multiple digital channels to maximize cost per result. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns effectively, including working with team members to create landing pages, ensure tracking is working correctly, and produce the proper creative for the campaign.
  • Measure Performance: Performance is at the forefront of this role, you will work with the team and the client to establish result benchmarking that allows our company to track performance MoM & YoY. This means that you will often have to cross-reference platform-reported numbers with client-side CRM results in order to identify cost per close so you can then make strategic recommendations on budget allocation.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Triple Whale, etc to analyze campaign performance and user behavior. You will need be expected to run deep data analysis using tools like excel & chatGPT to extract actionable insights and provide recommendations to optimize campaigns and achieve performance targets.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Identify opportunities for improving website conversion rates through user experience analysis, A/B testing, and landing page optimization. Collaborate with designers and developers to implement CRO initiatives.
  • Content Strategy: Work closely with content creators/copywriters to develop strategies that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact. Regularly communicate campaign progress, provide performance reports, and present strategic recommendations to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Industry Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitors’ activities. Conduct thorough research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiate our clients’ digital presence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience: 7 Years.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Strategist or similar role within a marketing agency.
  • In-depth experience of working with a client to understand marketing challenges, formulate a roadmap of a strategic plan to improve marketing performance, and working with the team to execute strategy and monitor performance over the campaign’s life.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc,
  • Expertise in using data visualization reporting tools, particularly Google Data Studio and Looker Studio. Configure reports, troubleshoot issues, and adjust as per client requirements. Work with third-party data connector integrations to generate comprehensive reports. Build custom filters, metrics, and dimensions using Looker Studio.
  • Extensive experience with the Meta Business Manager to troubleshoot account access issues, including ads, pixels, audiences, and pages.
  • Adaptability and proficiency in utilizing a variety of marketing tools available in the industry (Tik-Tok Creator Marketplace, Bilo, Hotjar Etc)
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques and tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working with our project coordinator to keep the team on track for marketing campaigns.
