Description
In this role, you will design and implement digital blocks for cutting-edge wireless System-on-Chip (SoC) products, while working closely with diverse engineering teams to ensure reliable performance and seamless integration. Architecture and Design: Define micro-architectures for digital blocks based on system-level specifications for various wireless communication standards (e.g., cellular, Wi-Fi, IoT protocols) Digital Verification (DV) Collaboration: Work closely with the design verification team to define test plans, review verification environments, and debug complex functional and gate-level simulation failures Wireless Systems Expertise: Apply knowledge of wireless communication theory, digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, and hardware-firmware interactions to optimize wireless modem performance Pre- and Post-Silicon Activities: Support the full chip development cycle, including FPGA prototyping, silicon bring-up, and post-silicon validation and optimization Team Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional collaboration with system architects, RF/analog engineers, firmware developers, and physical design teams Documentation and Review: Generate clear design specifications, micro-architecture documents, and participate in design and code reviews Work with RTL Verilog/System Verilog environment for debug and documentations You are an effective communicator and collaborative professional, skilled at bridging diverse technical teams and driving successful project outcomes. Your expertise in digital design and wireless systems is matched by your ability to foster open dialogue, share knowledge, and support a positive team dynamic. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Strong understanding of wireless communication systems and digital signal processing (DSP) principles 3-5 years of industry experience in digital design and RTL coding for complex SoCs or IP blocks Hands-on experience with Hardware Description Languages (HDLs), particularly Verilog and System Verilog Experience collaborating with digital verification teams and basic knowledge of modern verification methodologies Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation Fluency in English We are on a journey to create the best Infineon for everyone.
