Description

DIGITAL TRADING ASSISTANT

High Wycombe, office-based 3 days per week
Mint Velvet began when founders Liz Houghton and Lisa Agar-Rea set out to create an unfailingly chic collection of contemporary, great quality staples and elevated fits that they felt were missing from their wardrobes. Feeling frustrated that they couldn’t find anything they wanted to wear, or the great customer service they craved, they started fusing relaxed comfort with glamorous yet wearable fashion trends. Relaxed Glamour was born.
As collaborative creatives, we take untold pride in our work, designing with heart and soul. We want to be a force for good and are committed to becoming a more circular and responsible business, from the fabrics we choose to our considered processes. We are an agile and growing business, and we work hard to create an environment which allows for growth and progression, balanced with the support and flexibility needed to meet the challenge of a high-performance culture.
Our leadership teams and founders sit amongst the teams and encourage a culture of balance and passion. MV is a very special place, and our values are anchored by three main pillars: people, planet, and community.
As Digital Trading Assistant at Mint Velvet, you will support in the trading of MV.com to deliver the budgeted growth plans. You will be responsible for ensuring MV.com is always presented to the highest standard, to provide customers the optimum journey through the conversion funnel. Working cross-functionally, you will take ownership for the critical path of product launches, ensuring that these are delivered and categorised in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Own the critical path of product launches to the website, working closely with the relevant teams to coordinate imagery and product copy to ensure new products are loaded efficiently to prevent any delays to launch
  • Work closely with the Imagery team, responsible for ensuring all imagery is uploaded to the website and advising on any products that need adding to shoot lists
  • Responsible for the daily site audit of UK and international websites, ensuring categories remain optimised and the customer journey remains seamless
  • Manage MV stock reporting, ensuring all products are live; working through any nuances and escalating risks or concerns to the wider trading team
  • Awareness of product availability across international websites and the impact this has on trading & marketing activity
  • Review forward intake, ensuring that products are ready for launch and fully optimised for the website. Work closely with the merchandising team and advising on product categorisation
  • Responsible for ensuring trade categories are optimised, fully merchandised, and meet the expectation of the customer, using analytics to inform pages that require focus and working with your Line Manager to optimise
  • Work with the marketing team to support on campaign and promotional launches on site, ensuring we have sufficient stock to support
  • Own the creation of “Shop the Look” and utilise category merchandising tools to optimise category pages across UK & international websites
  • Support with the optimisation of search functionality, reviewing top search terms, implementing redirects and synonyms
  • Assist with the production of weekly trade reports and carrying out ad hoc reporting
  • Work in partnership with your line manager to continually improve your own performance – taking an active role in setting and achieving stretching objectives
