Location: Tinker Air Force Base (Oklahoma City, OK)
Illumination Works is looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Digital Transformation Specialist to lead and support digital initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency, customer experience, and business agility. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation, optimizing business processes through technology, and managing change while evolving toward a more digitally-enabled enterprise.

The key responsibilities of a DT Specialist include:

  • Analyze current digital capabilities, business processes, and tools to identify areas for improvement or innovation
  • Develop and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with business goals
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects involving new technologies, system integrations, or workflow automation
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g. AI, RPA, IoT, cloud solutions) into workflows
  • Lead change management efforts to support digital adoption, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement
  • Act as a liaison between IT, operations, and business units to ensure alignment and smooth implementation
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to assess the success of transformation initiatives
  • Stay informed on emerging digital trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions and best practices

Key skills we look for include:

  • 3-7 years of experience in digital transformation, IT consulting, business analysis, or process engineering
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation tools/plaforms such as CRM, ERP, RPA, AI, cloud computing, and data analytics
  • Proven experience in process optimization and technology implementation
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and factory optimization
  • Familiarity with digital frameworks (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TOGAF, ITIL)
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and automation platforms (UiPath, Power Automate)
  • Experience in project management and agile methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable academic discipline
  • Certifications such as PMP, Prosci Change Management, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US citizenship)
  • Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
