My client in the Insurance industry are looking for a Digital/ Web Business Analyst with UAT skills, to join their Digital & Customer Experience team, to help improve their technology design and analysis, bridging the gap between the customers and the technical teams.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Business and technical systems analysis, gap analysis and requirements documentation (with a focus on expressing requirements and user needs within the agile framework)
  • Strong understanding of the digital product development process, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution
  • Understanding of the needs of an international B2B and B2C customer base
  • Experienced working with Agile methodology
  • Able to manage a variety of projects, stakeholders and evolving scope and prioritise appropriately
  • Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of stakeholders and outstanding communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a highly collaborative approach, recognising your specialist role within a larger programme of work amongst other individuals’ roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to move seamlessly between the micro detail of requirement gathering and the strategic view of digital strategy
  • The ability to translate complex business ideas and processes into clear, user-led requirements/ stories
  • User testing methods and analysis to ensure systems are fit for purpose and behaving as expected
  • Working with lo-fidelity prototypes for the purpose of conveying and testing ideas
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities as well as excellent attention to detail and foresight
  • Ability to determine implications and make recommendations based on a range of factors e.g. commercial, risk, customer experience, justified by data
  • A flexible and adaptive approach to selecting and using the best tool(s) for different tasks and goals

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL and system integration solutions
  • Ability to design and maintain efficient customer support and feedback channels
  • Ensuring optimal system functionality via integrated diagnostics and analytics
  • Knowledge of data security and encryption
  • Knowledge of relevant licensing and industry compliance regulations inc GDPR
  • User Centred design and problem solving approach and methodologies (user journey experience desirable)
  • Experience identifying Minimal Viable Product requirement for prioritisation
