We are looking for a talented and experienced Digital Wholesale Solutions Engineer to join our Technology team at Marimekko headquarters in Helsinki.
As a Digital Wholesale Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global digital wholesale business. You’ll be part of a cross-functional, commercially driven Digital Wholesale team that works at the intersection of technology, sales, and operations. Together, we’re striving to grow our global B2B sales by building seamless digital experiences and empowering our Key Account Managers (KAMs) with smart, scalable tools. You’d be building tech that drives real business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain seamless integrations between our systems and wholesale clients, including EDI and PIM platforms
• Improve, optimize, and support our existing EDI infrastructure
• Contribute to the development and backend architecture of our new B2B shop, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions serve concrete sales and user experience goals
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
• Conduct unit, integration, and security testing to ensure system reliability and data integrity
• Ensure rapid deployment of new features while maintaining high code quality and stability
• Actively contribute to architectural decisions and drive innovation across digital wholesale initiatives
• Maintain detailed documentation and follow best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes
• your impact will be measurable — the systems and integrations you build will directly support Marimekko’s ambition to scale its digital wholesale sales globally

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 4 years’ experience as a solution engineer in sales/wholesale, in cloud engineering, system integration, or backend development roles
• Experience working with EDI platfroms integrating with various operators, PIM platforms, such as Akeneo or contentserv and building integrations with eCommerce platforms like Commercetools
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep and Terraform
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with composable commerce architecture is considered a strong asset
• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT
• A customer-centric mindset with a drive for delivering smooth, intuitive digital experiences
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Fluent in Finnish and in English
