• Inspect and assess small size loose diamonds to determine their quality, including color, clarity, cut, and carat weight.
• Classify diamonds according to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Use specialized equipment such as microscopes, loupes, and measuring tools to accurately evaluate diamonds.
• Identify and report any imperfections, flaws, or irregularities in diamonds.
• Organize and maintain an inventory of diamonds, ensuring accurate records are kept.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and accurate diamond assessments.

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while handling diamonds.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace to uphold the integrity of the diamonds.

• Requirements*:

• Proven experience as a Diamond Assorter, with a focus on small size loose diamonds.

• In-depth knowledge of diamond grading standards, including the 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat weight).
• Familiarity with gemological equipment such as microscopes, loupes, and diamond scales.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot minute differences in diamonds.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Integrity and respect for the confidentiality of diamond grading information.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
