Overview Holladay Park Plaza, Portland’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a Dining Purchasing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have flexible availability and the ability to work weekends (orders are placed on Sundays). Compensation: $22.50 - $28.80 / hr DOE What You’ll Be Doing: Assume responsibility for the purchase and receiving of all food and beverage products for the Dining and Nutritional Services departments. Maintain department standards for all storage areas with regard to cleanliness, organization, food quality, and food safety. These storage areas include but are not limited to, walk-in refrigeration/freezers, dry good storage, in-kitchen storage, alcohol storage, and disposable/chemical storage. Receive and check-in all department deliveries, examining all received items based on department standards for accuracy, food quality, food safety, and any other quality standards set forth by the Dining Services Director and Executive Chef. Dishwashing and cleaning duties to ensure that the residents and guests are provided with a dining experience that exceeds their expectations About You: One (1) year of experience in purchasing and/or receiving. Preferred dishwashing and/or commercial kitchen cleaning experience within a hospitality and culinary-focused environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Any current state-sanctioned regulatory Food and Alcoholic Beverage licenses that are required to work within the food, beverage, and/or health services environment. Current Food Handlers Card.
