Come and join our team
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dining Room Assistant.
You will be responsible for serving our healthy nutritious meals to pupils whilst ensuring that our dining room area is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition. Other duties will include the setting up and clearing away of tables, other general cleaning duties and maintaining accurate records in relation to pupils who have food allergies and special dietary requirements.
This post is for 8.75 hours per week / 1 hour 45 minutes per day. Hourly rate is £12.75
Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks), ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an ‘annualised’ pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks. We need a motivated and dedicated person who has: -

• The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
• Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
• Good communication and people skills
• The ability to work on their own and as part of a team.

You will need:

• A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
• Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering duties.

DBS level:
