Description The Village At Summerville is seeking an experienced Dining Room Manager to lead our Front-of-House (FOH) team in delivering exceptional hospitality to our residents. The ideal candidate is a hands-on service leader who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment and partners closely with the Back-of-House (BOH) culinary team to ensure a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff. Maintain high service standards, food presentation quality, and timely meal service. Provide outstanding hospitality and resolve resident concerns promptly. Coordinate special events, themed meals, and catering setups. Track resident diets with Health Services staff. Work closely with BOH and other departments for smooth communication and resident engagement. Monitor FOH supplies, labor, and operational costs; assist with ordering. Maintain accurate records, including POS, revenue, staffing, and dietary updates. Ensure compliance with Department of Health and food safety standards. Oversee opening and closing procedures and maintain a clean, inviting dining environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualification: Minimum Education, Experience and Skills: Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: One-year supervisory experience in a restaurant, healthcare or hospitality setting Skills: Excellent customer service skills Certification: ServSafe Manager certified Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Education: Associates Degre and SERV Safe Certified Experience: Three years of supervisory experience Skill: Proficient computer skills At PCSC, we believe in relationships, service, teamwork, excellence and stewardship, and use these values daily to enrich the quality of life for our residents.
