Description Dining Room Manager We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the front-of-house operations within our senior living community. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, the successful candidate will ensure exceptional dining experiences for our residents while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and hospitality. This role offers a flexible work schedule, including holidays, to accommodate the needs of our community and staff. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during meal times - Supervise and train servers and dining staff to deliver excellent customer service - Monitor cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in the dining area - Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal service - Handle resident and guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly - Assist in planning and executing special events and dining programs - Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies - Support staff development through ongoing training and performance evaluations Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment - Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including holidays and weekends - Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols - Compassionate and respectful attitude towards seniors and their needs Join our team and be part of a community that values quality care, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
