JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a solid background in food service management, with experience in fine dining settings. The Dining Room Manager provide complete oversight of the Dining Room operations with managerial support and hands-on labor in the Dining Services.

Responsibilities
  • Assures service provided to Residents meets the standards of Fine Dining.
  • Table touch customer service at each meal.
  • Manage all aspects of the daily dining room operations including staffing, cleanliness and equipment.
  • Train and assure staff perform dining service with proper serving, clearing and cleaning methods. Validates proficiency in POS, ordering, menus and processes.
  • Maintain oversight of the ADRM (Assistant Dining Room Manager) and the Assisted Living waitstaff to ensure all regulatory requirements are within compliance daily.
  • Communicate well with residents and all employees while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure the daily workload is completed in a high quality and efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily huddles with waitstaff.
  • Inspect work for completion in the absence of the ADRM.
  • Manage waitstaff and the daily workload.
  • Attend all assigned meetings and expanded team meetings.
  • Report all safety problems and facility/equipment damage to the proper source.
  • Meet with and takes directives from the Director of Culinary Services and the Executive Chef.
  • Oversee Bar Operations including ordering beer and wine as needed.
  • Respond to all catering inquiries. Refers completed inquiries to ADRM for follow-up and completion.
  • Close dining room in cooperation with ADRM.
  • Arrange FOH equipment repairs and purchases supplies as needed.
