JOB SUMMARY:

The Meadows is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented dining room server to join our dining services team! This role is essential in providing a positive dining experience for our residents by ensuring high-quality service, assisting with meal service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation (training provided).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist residents in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Take meal orders and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the dietary needs and preferences of residents are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables, refilling supplies, and clearing dishes.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist residents with mobility needs as required.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Culinary.
