Overview Join the management team at Maker's Union. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the operations of the dining room and ensuring guests have a pleasant experience. Responsibilities Manage restaurant operations to enhance customer experiences. Supervise and train dining staff for exceptional service. Handle reservations and optimize seating arrangements. Ensure accuracy in order taking and transmission to the kitchen. Promote upselling and maintain a strong grasp of the menu. Resolve conflicts among staff and address customer concerns. Uphold health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient service. Maintain a clean and inviting dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management. Strong communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of food safety and health regulations. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds. Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Clear verbal communication with guests and team members. Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed.
