JOB SUMMARY

The Dining Room Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for guests by overseeing the dining room operations. This position involves managing the servers, maintaining food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming and professional dining atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in food and beverage service in, ideally senior living or hospitality setting.
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily food and beverage service operations in the dining room and any catered events.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule dining room staff to ensure a high level of performance and customer service.
  • Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, themed dinners and catering requests.
  • Address residents inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate feedback and improve service delivery.
  • Manage inventory of the dining room supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Oversee table setups, food presentation, and service to maintain high standards of quality.
