Dining Server Department: Dining Services Employment Type: Part Time Location: Grand Rapids, MI Reporting To: Jasna Delalic Compensation: $15.92 - $19.10 / hour Description Schedule: Part-time less than 16 hours per week | 4pm - 7:30pm | Monday - Friday | every other weekend Department: Porter Hills Village | Dining Services Department | Health Center What You'll Do: As a Dining Server in our Health Center, you’ll play an important role in supporting residents in our skilled nursing area. Beyond serving meals, you’ll help enrich the daily lives of those we care for. Using a ticket system to ensure accuracy, you’ll prepare beverages, serve meals, engage with residents, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment. This role is about more than food service—it’s about creating meaningful connections and contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents. Key Responsibilities Watch tickets and run a tray line. Serve meals to residents and guests with a smile and a friendly demeanor. Take orders and ensure accuracy of orders. Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions. Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
