As a Dining Site Coordinator at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan, you will play an essential role in serving nutritious meals that cater to the needs of clients in a dining site setting. This position is vital in supporting our mission of delivering both nourishment and companionship. Become part of a team dedicated to enhancing the mealtime experience for seniors through care, respect, and connection. In this role you will: * Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages meal attendance and positive engagement. * Prepare, heat, and serve meals, and complete all cleanup tasks following established procedures. * Follow all required food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience. * Order meals and site supplies using best practices to reduce waste and maintain cost efficiency. * Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support meal site operations as needed. * Maintain participant records and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time. * Follow established cash‑handling and cash‑control procedures. * Promote a positive and enjoyable dining experience for all participants. * Encourage client donations through education, excellent service, and a positive environment. * Gather feedback from clients regularly and communicate insights to the supervisor. * Refer clients to additional services when appropriate to support their well‑being. * Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work surfaces as required. * Perform dishwashing duties, including manual washing and operation of a commercial dishwasher.  What’s In it for you:  We don’t do fine print and mystery perks.
