The Inn at Bay Fortune is home to a five-star inn and culinary experience hosting up to 72 guests at our nightly FireWorks Feast from May to October every year. QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Experience working in restaurants as a busser, polisher, or host is an asset.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.

  • Can follow a checklist, take direction from supervisors, and collaborate with team members to accomplish tasks.
  • Is comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as polishing glassware.
  • Is able to stand and walk for long periods, and can carry multiple plates of food.
  • Is comfortable working outdoors.
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Front of House Manager and the Front of House Supervisor, you will:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Pour water at the tables before the guests’ arrival and throughout service.
  • Collect glassware from the drop-off bins at various culinary stations around the property.
  • Polish glassware and cutlery and put away racks.
  • Keep watch on the glass racks and inform the Kitchen Porters when they are full.
  • Help the Servers with coffee and tea preparation.
  • Help clear tables at the end of service.
  • Keep the Service Station swept and tidy.
