JOB VACANCY: DINNER TIME SUPERVISOR (LEVEL 3 CHILDCARE QUALIFIED)

Location: Wise Owl Nursery and Pre School Ltd
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 2:30pm]
Contract Type: Part-time, Term Time Only
Are you passionate about working with children and making lunchtime a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Dinner Time Supervisor to join our team!
This role is ideal for a Level 3 Childcare qualified professional who enjoys supporting children during their midday break and is happy to assist with staff meal supervision and cover as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support children during lunch times.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, good manners, and social interaction.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
  • Assist in setting up and tidying the dining area.
  • Support staff lunches by helping with meal supervision and cover where required.
  • Work closely with teaching and support staff to maintain a consistent and caring environment.

We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential).
  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
  • A calm, friendly, and approachable manner.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety practices.
  • Flexibility and a team-player attitude.
