POSITION OVERVIEW

Join the exciting journey of our brand-new, purpose-built Lidcombe service, catering for 75 children. Open for less than a year, our centre offers a fresh and inspiring environment where you can truly make your mark.
As a Diploma Educator, you will play a key role in your room’s daily operations, ensuring high-quality education, strong routines, and a warm, inclusive environment. You’ll work alongside a passionate team of educators to deliver engaging programs that nurture each child’s growth and development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Room Leader or strong interest in taking on a leadership role
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Child Protection training/certificate
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Passion for creating inspiring, engaging learning environments

• Lead and guide the educators in your room, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality learning programs in line with the EYLF and NQS.
• Maintain effective routines and a safe, organised, and engaging learning space.
• Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families and keep them informed of their child’s progress.
• Support the centre’s culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
