Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Business Development oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department. The Director of Business Development is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods. As a member of the facility management team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in strategic planning, sales and marketing management, identification of potential growth opportunities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred.
  • Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred.
  • Serves as the leader, manager and trainer of the marketing team’s sales and marketing programs
  • Must have a strong social media presence with an understanding in social media metrics.
  • A strong client service background is mandatory
  • Must have marketing and sales abilities.
  • Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations and Policy and Procedures.
  • Must be a good public speaker and be able to present materials in a clear, concise and logical manner.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Good leadership qualities which includes self-control, patience, and empathy
  • Obtain BLS Basic Life Support certification
  • New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
  • Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check)
