Summary :
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and innovative Director of Technology Solutions to lead our Compliance technology transformation across multiple workstreams, including Communication Surveillance, Trade Surveillance, Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Surveillance, Regulatory Compliance Management, and Conduct Supervision.
This is a cross-disciplinary role requiring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strategic vision to align technology solutions with business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of business systems analysts, developers, and engineers against a road map of deliverables to transform the efficiency and effectiveness within these workstreams. As a key member of Compliance leadership team, the candidate will play a critical role in managing risk, protecting the firm’s reputation, and fostering a culture of technical and compliance excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Establish strong relationships with business, global control room, global trade surveillance, communication surveillance and supervisory stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
- Develop and execute technology strategies to support the business goals of the organization.
- Work closely with product vendors to leverage their expertise and deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program to address both business and regulatory requirements globally including data quality, completeness, and controls.
- Provide overall technology leadership and guidance for the delivery team.
- Manage a team of developers, architects, engineers, and QA resources by providing guidance and mentoring.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Collaborate with other technology teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems with other applications and workstreams.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies/trends and make recommendations for adoption.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and enhancing efficiency.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, and proactively address any deviations.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends related to compliance technology.
- Drive data strategy initiatives, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.
- Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and promote a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on technology initiatives, progress, and challenges.
Required Skills :
- Proven experience in project/program delivery and development leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of design architecture related to both vendor and in-house products delivered in on-prem and/or cloud delivery models.
- Hands-on experience with integration projects involving multiple systems and platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong background in the implementation of controls in a complex data driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in driving technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
- In-depth knowledge of data strategy, data governance, and data integration.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in leading agile teams.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
- Sound understanding of security principles and best practices in technology.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology solutions with business requirements.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline required.
- 10+ years related experience required.
- Financial services industry expertise required in one or more domains.
- Demonstrated management, organizational and leadership skills required.
- Proven ability to manage large and complex projects simultaneously required.
The Director - Tech Solutions TDS Management builds and maintains strong business relationship with assigned clients / internal partners and provides direction and guidance on optimal technology solutions/services to meet business needs. The position generally manages a varied team of IT professionals and bridges the gap between the business and technology, and leverages resources across functional or specialized technology areas to ensure end to end delivery of agreed upon solutions or services within planned forecasts / cost estimates. Role generally supports a significant Business area, Product Group, Enterprise Platform, Service or Capability within a Segment CIO or Functional area.

- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
- Graduate degree, preferred.
- 10+ years related experience.
- Expert knowledge of the business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective and managing/ directing teams and projects.
- Sound knowledge of external competition, emerging, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business.
- Understands strategic direction (including financials) and champions’ alliances to benefit the Bank and/or department; advocates for operational improvements to enhance the divisions value to the organization.
