REQUIREMENT:

• Over 3-year experiences in insurance business development or underwriting in commercial lines.
• Knowledge and experience in underwriting insurance risks is preferable.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory practices and legislations in insurance industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Good communications and negotiation skills.
• Additional language skill in Chinese is required.
• Qualification in insurance (CII) is preferable.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London EC3V 3N

• Work on business development and marketing for the Direct Business.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with direct clients and corporate customers.
• Responsible for serving direct clients’ accounts/portfolio.
• Support the underwriting of commercial risks / SME within the Direct Business.
• Support the quotation for new business and the renewal of existing business.
• Assist on the risk survey and contribute to loss ratio control and the analysis of retention levels.
• Offer consistent top-quality service to customers to enhances our reputation and increase the probability of renewals.
• Support the achievement of satisfactory and profitable results for the Company.
• Support the team as needed and carry out other tasks as required.
• Follow department procedures to process daily underwriting work within the company’s system.
