Department Overview : The TD Direct Investing Journey owns the end-to-end client experience across TD’s self-directed i nvesting platforms ( TD Easy Trade , TD WebBroker, and the TD App) . We aim to maintain our position as Canada’s best and biggest broker by defin ing , innovat ing , and deliver ing digital features to make it easy to join , fund, and trade alongside highly engaging in-app tools and resources .

Job Description & Accountabilities : Reporting to a Senior Product M anager you may be assigned to support a Manager , and/or lead an initiative in one or more of the following areas ( to be determined ) :

  • P roduct Owners hip : Support the Senior Manager or Manager in d riv ing the o bjective and k ey r esult for a given phase of the Journey (Shop, Buy, Serve, Engage) by creating and maintaining feature roadmaps, managing escalations, assessing customer feedback, and communicatin g sprint goals as part of an a gile team including IT, A rchitecture , C hange M anagement
  • Analytics & Insights: Support the Senior Manager or Manager by measur ing Journey K ey R esults at each phase and understand their drivers to assess progress , and uncover new data-driven insights to influenc e both short term tactics and longer - term strateg y
  • Emerging Investor Solutions : Support the Senior Manager or Manager with the longer - term innovation agenda by exploring, developing, and validating new concepts, and defining and scoping early-stage opportunities through prototyping and testing .

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working towards a degree/diploma in a related field (e.g.: IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business…etc.)
  • A strong t eam player , curious to learn, with an ability to quickly build relationships
  • A passion for making personal finances easier
  • E xperience working on complex problems that have competing stakeholders
  • Ex ceptional communication skills , developing business documents and leadership presentations
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint

Not mandatory , but considered an asset:

  • Personal e xper ience with self-directed investing
  • E xperience working in w ealth , b anking, f in tech, c onsultancy, d igital b usiness
  • Experience creating business strategy
  • Experience working in agile / digital delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with data extraction, manipulation, and visualization
  • Familiarity with innovation , experimentation , u sability , human-centered design
