Responsibilities
  • Creating, implementing, and providing direct procurement activities according to organization needs
  • Developing strategies for direct procurement that align with organizational goals and sales targets while ensuring sustainable procure process for the business, customer and patients
  • Being a strategic partner to other chapter’s leads and senior management
  • Providing expertise and support in procurement-related matters
  • Managing direct procurement processes following group organization standards and local regulations
  • Managing direct suppliers based on evaluation activities and providing regular assessments to improve quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Implementing improvement plans based on supplier performance assessments
  • Building awareness and adherence to risk / regulatory / quality compliance requirements
  • Providing a full scope of direct procurement activities in the bidding processes, ensuring on-time delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality regulations
  • Leading negotiations and end-to-end contract management
  • Ensuring global KPI throughout the year focusing on target savings, payment terms, and purchase order creation
  • Owner of local policy for direct procurement processes

People Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of direct procurement specialist: provide guidance, support, coaching; foster a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Ensuring individual development plans for each team member following unique strengths and career aspirations, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
  • Leading and motivating team to co–create a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and innovation
  • Communicating effectively: maintain open and clear communication with the team; facilitate effective communication within the team and with other chapters
  • Coaching and mentoring team members: provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, help the team members develop their skills and achieve their career goals
  • Evaluating team performance: conduct regular performance evaluations for team members; provide constructive feedback and support performance improvement
  • Fostering a feedback culture: build and develop a culture of feedback within the team
