Steady growth and expansion ensured Canada operations were strengthened with the purchase of a key facility in the heartland of America. 1st Shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Job Overview Under general direction from the Production Supervisor, Production Worker II (Machine Monitor) is responsible for working as part of the blow molding production team to ensure products are manufactured based on specifications. Beyond general production and assembly work, this role also monitors blow molding machines and performs tasks to measure and document machine performance and other auxiliary equipment. They may also be required to work with equipment to clear jams, adhering to set standards and company policies. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor blow molding machine performance and gather information from machine control panel. Record data to be used by the Operations Team for process changes, control, and analysis. Monitor other equipment, such as, but not limited to, hoppers, grinders, belts, and air pressure testers to ensure maximization and efficiency in productivity, clearing out jams, as necessary. Assist with machine material and product color changes. Receive parts from machinery and complete assembly duties on all finished products throughout the production environment. Rotate through all general assembly tasks required in the blow molding process, ensuring product meets the minimum product quality standards. Examine all parts and products to verify conformance to quality standards, including visual inspection. Report any non-conforming product to Production Lead or Supervisor Participate in sort and rework of non-conformance product, as necessary. Perform basic testing and packaging on spouts and other components. Maintain a clean and organized working environment following our 5S standards and ensure safety throughout the plant. Perform other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be very safety-conscious with a record of Hazard Identification and Risk Control Must be able to read and communicate verbally. Must have strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and excellent time management skills. Proven people skills and be collaborative, with the ability to work in a diverse workplace. Lock-Out/Tag-Out training certification required. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required 6 to 12 months manufacturing experience Physical Requirements Frequent exposure to manufacturing operations requires the ability to use all necessary safety equipment. Standing, walking, stooping, and bending are frequent and required. Must be able to tolerate repetitive motions for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift fifty pounds. Ability to stand for at least 8 - 12 hours on concrete surface is required. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures.
