Job Summary:  The Direct Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Residential Direct Sales Department for assigned region of the i3 Broadband Fiber Footprint.   Leadership Responsibilities: * Leads by example as a high-energy, field-focused sales leader  * Recruits, hires, and onboards Residential Sales Representatives * Develops and implements structured onboarding and training programs for new hires  * Identifies individual and team training gaps and implements targeted development plans  * Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides timely, constructive coaching  * Develops and implements Sales Success Plans to drive accountability and results  * Oversees third-party D2D vendors, including onboarding, turf assignments, and sales activity  * Develops and executes territory and competitive strategies to maximize sales productivity  * Establish documents, and standardize sales and operational processes across assigned region  * Demonstrates strong communication, field evaluation, and real-time coaching skills   Key Responsibilities: * Maintains a strong presence in the field with the sales team to build camaraderie and credibility, including weekly time spent coaching, assisting, and training representatives * Motivates and drives the sales team to meet or exceed quotas * Reviews and analyzes sales and operational reports to project performance, determine profitability, and identify market opportunities * Identifies and analyzes customer feedback to help guide sales efforts and improve customer experience * Assigns territories and sets quotas using data and performance insights * Conduct regional sales meetings as needed and actively participate in full-team sales meetings. * Collaborate with leadership to develop sales offers, quotas, and strategies * Partners with cross-functional departments to resolve operational issues impacting sales performance * Resolves customer complaints, staffing challenges, and other issues affecting sales operations * Prepare sales forecasts and monitors expenses * Represents the company at community events, chamber meetings, and industry associations * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Education and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, and/or equivalent record of sales or leadership experience required.  * 2+ years of Sales Supervisor or Management experience preferred.  * Minimum of 3 years of sales experience required. Previous experience in Door-to-Door role preferred. Skills and Competencies: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills. * Strong supervisory and leadership skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, smartphones, tablets, and other related software including CRM * Ability to complete documentation accurately and timely. * Employees are required to hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that complies with company insurance requirements and active personal auto insurance in place. * Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check and a motor vehicle records review. * Reliable transportation is essential for this role. Working Conditions: * Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and during inclement weather. * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.  * Must be able to be in the field side by side with sales reps while they are working in their assigned territories. * Availability to work evenings and weekends.
