Description AMHC is excited to announce the availability of a part time (3 out of 5 days a week) Direct Service Professional (DSP) position at St. John Valley Associates in Madawaska. We are seeking a dedicated individual to work with adults who are developmentally and intellectually disabled. As a DSP, you will support individuals in integrating into the community, encouraging involvement in outside-the-home activities, and helping them build meaningful relationships. We are looking for a motivated, self-starting individual who has a strong work ethic and a passion for connecting with people. DSPs will assist clients in pursuing their interests and fostering community involvement. The successful candidate will demonstrate our core values by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect in their interactions with clients, co-workers, and community members. Responsibilities & Expectations: Collaborate with clients and providers to create individualized, service-focused plans. Provide respectful and compassionate services to support the individual's emotional, physical, and personal well-being.
